Mike Hailwood's win of the world title on the Isle of Man in 1978 is a legend in racing history. The design of this commemorative IOM 78 jacket is inspired by the historic Castrol logo that adorned Mike Hailwood's victorious Ducati 900 SS. In super soft leather, this jacket has both a comfortable feel and a vintage look, yet doesn't sacrifice safety. Composite protections on the shoulders and elbows and compatibility with the G2 back guard, sold separately, provide protection. Two outer pockets, an adjustable hip fastening and a jacket-to-pants zipper make the jacket functional for riding, and elasticised fabric at the armholes maximises movement. The jacket is lined with both a fixed sanitised lining and a removable thermal micro-down lining promoting hygiene and versatility for all temperatures. To complete this jacket's retro look, historical sponsor patches decorate the left sleeve, and the 1977 Giugiaro logo marks the front, back, and right sleeve. The Ducati colours of red, white and black, as well as an Italian flag patch on the front, proudly mark this jacket as a Ducati original.
